What is waiting for you at the workshop?

Whether you are 5 or 95, you will enjoy your visit to Animagic.

When you arrive here, you will first see ceramics and other art of Irina Borisova - a multi-talented artist and co-owner of Animagic.

After that, you will take a guided tour of Museum of Animation, Special Effects and Art showcasing the rich special effects history of the Berkshires. You will see original models used in famous movies and a genuine Academy Award® won by Eugene Mamut -a co-owner of Animagic. We will introduce you to modern technologies that made such blockbuster movies as The Matrix, X-Men, Chicken Run possible.

The admission to the museum is free to all. The length of the tour is 20 minutes.

After the tour, you will turn your imagination into reality and create your own animated movie.

Just in two hours, you will

  • create your model
  • make an animation movie
  • record your movie on the computer
  • add sound, music, and title
  • transfer the completed movie onto the tape to take home.

Today's special price for a 2-hour workshop is $20 per person (reg. $40) which includes all - materials, ideas, instruction, and a tape.

Along with entry-level workshops, our Animagic Academy offers advanced classes where students create projects working as a team (see one on the right).

We also offer other services, e.g. day camps, birthday celebrations, etc.

In our shop, you will find lots of hard-to-find toys based on amazing scientific phenomena.

NOTE: Animagic is open every day, all year round, by appointment only (see the bottom of this screen for contact information).
